sustainable survival tools for visionary parents trapped within the failed modern experiment of the nuclear family
Stop parenting, Start humaning
Would you like to live in a family that…
Nurtures human beings who will be more equipped to meet the challenges of an unraveling world?
Turns conflicts into opportunities for deeper connection and togetherness?
Cares for the needs of everyone in the family, even when the needs can’t be met?
Transforms the limitations of everyone in the family ecosystem, including yours, into opportunities for blame-free problem solving so the things that are most important to everyone get attention and you don’t slowly bleed out and die?
Uses liberating tools and practices that reduce triggers, yelling and ruptures, and that are effort-free because they feel good?
Is breaking free from the cultural pattern of mothers overstretching, followed by physical, emotional and spiritual collapse?
here are three ways to work together…

1:1 Coaching
-
This is for...
Those who are experiencing an urgent need for accompaniment and support. If you are not needing immediate support, please consider my ongoing group coaching option where the experiences of others amplifies our learning and integration. Sessions are on an as-needed basis, I don’t offer packages.
-
I offer Online or In-Person Sessions (Olympic Peninsula)
Online via zoom or in-person support if you reside on the Olympic Peninsula. Sessions generally last anywhere from 60-90 minutes, but please allow for a full 90 minutes so that our session isn’t constrained by “time.”
-
Supporting my sustainability
I long for all mothers to receive the support they need, regardless of their ability to pay for it. I also exist within the world as it is and need to meet my own material needs so that I can continue to do my work. If you are able and willing to contribute to my sustainability, I ask that you offer as much as you are able to without over-stretching, or under-stretching. If your own material needs are adequately met, an amount you could consider is between $125-$250 USD. If you are not able to offer an amount within this range due to your own sustainability needs you are welcome to offer an amount that you can afford, even if that amount is zero.
Mom Gym - Ongoing Group Coaching
(Sundays at 6 pm pacific)
-
This is for...
Moms who like my work. Work your nonviolent mom muscles at this weekly group coaching call. You don’t need to do anything but ask to register and show up to the call. It isn’t necessary to email questions ahead of time, just show up. Frequent topics of discussion are “power struggles”, coparenting challenges and the behaviors of “kids who never get used to things that suck” (sometimes referred to as neurodivergent).
-
This option is currently online
Online via zoom. Calls last anywhere from 1-2 hours, depending on need and collective energy.
-
Supporting my sustainability
I long for all mothers to receive the support they need, regardless of their ability to pay for it. I’m offering group coaching as a gift to anyone who wants to join. If you are able to offer money towards my financial sustainability, a range you could consider is between $10-$25 per session. If you would like to offer more, please do, and it will help increase the likelihood that I can continue to offer my gifts to the world. If you can offer less or nothing at all, you are still strongly encouraged to join, and you are warmly welcomed.

Classes
(Online, and in-person)
-
This is for...
Curious humans. Classes are a great way to get to know me and how I work before deciding to join my weekly coaching calls or request 1:1 coaching. I offer single topic “workshop” style classes and a 4 week long series that takes a deeper dive into a particular area.

FAQs
Do you offer coaching “packages”
No. We can’t know how long it will make sense to work together. Sessions are booked on an as-needed basis.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for 24 hours notice to change or cancel a coaching session so that I can utilize my limited energy and time efficiently.
Does my co-parent need to be there for coaching? CAN my co-parent be there?
I work primarily with mothers (and bless that one day there will be a father who I adore offering coaching to other fathers). For 1:1 sessions, co-parents of all kinds are welcome. For now, for group coaching, I welcome all mothers. If you’re not a mother but would like to join, please email me. I would like to know who else is interested in this offering.
Do I need to know nonviolent communication in order to benefit from your work?
No. But if you feel called to learn, I believe it’s likely you will find it supportive. Here are two resources I recommend:
Marshall Rosenberg’s visionary book:
Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life
Miki Kashtan’s rich and vivid vision for a nonviolent future, in book form:
I’m confused about how much you charge.
I am experimenting with working within the maternal gift economy, while also living within the constraints of capitalism. Part of maternal gift economy is de-coupling giving from receiving, and instead entrusts life to allow resources to flow towards needs, rather than direct exchange of money for goods and services. The bridge I’m currently experimenting with between gift economy and capitalism is a sliding scale payment range for each of my offerings. If you can’t offer an amount within that range, you are welcome to offer less. If you aren’t able to contribute any money, you are still welcome to receive my support. My request is that you:
Discern with care, and with tenderness for yourself that you may be limited in your capacity to discern with accuracy what you can “afford” because of societal conditioning that has trained you to under or over-estimate your own needs in relation to money.
Remember that I have material needs too and that I long for others to show care for my needs, as a person trained to give to others at cost to myself.
Offer only what you are able to offer as a gift, connected to your longing to live in a world where support flows freely towards needs, rather than an exchange for services.
I’m NOT FAMILIAR WITH YOUR WORK, CAN I COME TO GROUP COACHING TO “CHECK IT OUT” ?
Please don’t come to group coaching if you don’t know if we’re a good fit. I want the energetic filed within group coaching to feel aligned and high-trust. If you don’t yet know if we are philosophically aligned, please sign up for one of my classes.
